Elliptic Hall algebras and Hecke algebras
We describe the Hall algebra of the category of vector bundles on an elliptic curve and relate it to a double affine Hecke algebra of type A. This gives a link between Macdonald polynomials and the geometric Langlands program for an elliptic curve.
